Daring 1930s Floral and Striped Silk Chiffon Dress with Gathered Neckline
The mix of floral line-work and flowing, feminine style in this very early 1930s silk chiffon frock are exceptional. I love everything about it. Featuring a simple, straight cut with gathered neckline, the dress is on the edge of 1929 with 1930. The silk is very lightweight, ethereal and fine. The black background is rich with these 1930s florals, and gives it a mysterious air. It is utterly sheer and requires a slip or glamorous undergarments. This dress has no closures and slips over the head.
This dress has no darts at the bust. Please allow ease for an appropriate fit.
Label: None Present
Material: Silk Chiffon
Condition: Good minus, very wearable, as is
This dress is clean and ready to wear. There are three tiny thread pulls on the left side of the front of the dress. There is one area of pull on the right side of the dress where it created a series of tiny pinholes down the dress. On the back of the dress there are about seven teeny thread pulls and one area of weakness on the shoulder. All of this is subtle and disguised very well when worn. I find no other issues to note.
