Vintage late 1930s day dress in slubbed rayon made to look like slubbed silk. It's a summery style with short sleeves, a smart notched collar, and hip pockets. The front yoke, the sleeves, and the pockets are all trimmed with white eyelet lace. The dress has two little white buttons at the front. They are modern replacements, and it's occurred me I should have found and sewn on some cute contrast buttons. The waist has a heavy bar of shirring at the center front creating soft draping. The dress closes on the side with snaps.
Hips: 43". not counting any draping at the front
Label: None Present
Material: Rayon or rayon blend
Condition: Very Good minus
This dress is clean and ready to wear. The hem was let out to the maximum in the past and finished with a scant edge and hand stitch. There is some hand stitching repairing the side seam at the right side of the waist. There is a small spot on the outside of the left sleeve, and I interfaced a small thin spot/almost-hole at the center back. I find no other issues to note!
