Cute 1950s or 60s Skirt in Sturdy Cotton Twill with Rainbow Chevron Stripes

  • Product Description

I find this bright and summery skirt completely irresistible. If I'm honest, I'm not confident on the dating, as it is homemade - it has a metal zipper, but the pockets look 70s and the fabric looks 50s. It's a very cute, casual, sturdy and utterly wearable mystery! Ombre stripes of tan to brown, pink to magenta, chartruese to indigo and turquoise to grey are mixed with stripes of heathered grey and metallic gold. I love the use of the stripes as a chevron, always a favorite. With deep pockets and sturdy metal zipper to close, this will be a hard working favorite in your closet!

      Waist: 33”
      Hips: 50”
      Length: 26.5” + 4.5" available at hem

      Label: None Present
      Material: Cotton
      Condition: Very Good minus

This skirt is clean and ready to wear. Being homemade, the internal edge of the deep hem was never finished, and has fraying at the edge from being washed. There are a couple tiny snags in the cotton weave, nothing significant. I find no other issues to note!
