One of the early playsuits I've ever had, I find this Antēme playsuit, made of Fruit of the Loom Fabric pretty special. The only ads I can find for the label date to 1931 and 33 and are for beach pajamas - I imagine this cutie is from the same range. The plaid is cut on the bias. True to early 30s style, the bust is not darted, and the waist of the skirt is still dropped, although the long self-fabric ties cinch the natural waist. The built in bottoms are bloomer style with elasticized cuffs. The piece closes up the side with snaps.
Waist: 34.5" *cinches down to as small as 23" well
Length: 30" to end of skirt, 32" to center crotch when not on a body
Label: Antēme - Fruit of the Loom Fabrics
Condition: Good plus , as is
This piece is clean and ready to wear. There are three small spots on the left side. I had to move the top two snaps back to their original position, and there's a little evidence of where I removed them. I believe the back straps were restitched in the past. I find no other issues to note!
