This charming original 1920s housecoat is the perfect garment for this moment. While nearly a hundred years old, the silk is incredibly strong and still decadent. It's a simple style, and could easily be worn as the tunic top of a pajama set, or on it's own as dress! The wrap style closes with attached ties internally on the right, and externally on the left. The piping and little appliques are a pale silk that was once white, but are now pale blue from dye transfer from previous washes. My favorite part is the little shield-shaped pocket.
*Please forgive the wrinkles - I don't know how I missed steaming this, or missed that I had missed it!
Drop Waist: 32"-38"

Material: Silk Charmeuse Satin

This piece has been carefully handwashed and treated with vinegar to ensure the fibers stay soft. As noted, the dye has blend in the accents. That's the only issue I see to note, though, the piece is entirely sturdy without any strains or structural flaws.
