I love the palette of this 1950s cotton day dress. Warm orange and mustard are contrasted with blue and olive green. It is sleeveless, with a notch at the neckline, and features darling little black bows down the front. The print alternates between featured florals and scenes of traditionally dressed Chinese women* with backgrounds of a Chinese garden. The skirt is pleated but not overly full. There are wide belt loops available to pair it with a belt. This cute frock closes on the side with a sturdy metal zipper.
*I am less comfortable than I used to be with listing images depicting people of different cultures, and take care that any piece with such images is not fetishized or depicted in a way that enforced stereotypes. This piece has traditionally styled images of women in traditional dress. I would prefer person of color who might feel represented by it - please take this into consideration with your purchase.

This dress clean, fresh and ready to wear. The bows on the bodice are attached with metal accents that once held rhinestones -the rhinestones are lost. The seam binding finishing the sleeves has frayed and is gone in some cases. There is one small, faint spot on the lower back left of the skirt. I find no other issues to note!
