Vintage 1950s day dress is fresh for summer in a quality linen that has excellent body and retains some crispness, while being soft enough to wear very comfortably. This charming dress is embellished with alluring open lace that makes a deep v on the bodice, and long sweeping curves that emphasize the hips. The cut of the neckline is a favorite shape of mine that is quintessentially postwar, and it's used to brilliant effect in this early 50s summer frock. The skirt, I should note, does not have pockets, but rather a two-part panel that allows for the sheer lace, and the excellent draping. The dress closes on the side with a sturdy metal zipper. It still has the original self-fabric belt.
Label: Reich Originals
Condition: Very Good
This dress is clean and ready to wear. I find no issues to note with the dress itself. The belt is missing a number of rhinestones.
