Vintage 1940s suit is a creamy colored Palm Beach cloth, tailored to perfection. These are truly getting hard to find - summer suits abound, but Palm Beach cloth is special. The sturdy shoulder pads create a strong silhouette. It's collarless, a war-era detail, so combined with the shoulders, I'd said this is just post war. It closes up the front with four glossy buttons. Like most Palm Beach suits, the front pockets are real pockets, deep enough to actually use! The simple skirt is gently flared, a six gore style with dual kick pleats at front. These Palm Beach suits rarely survive to be so sturdy, bright and unmarked - it's quite a find. The jacket closes with buttons down the front, and the skirt with a metal side zipper and button.

This suit is clean and ready to wear! There a single VERY faint mark at the left of the bust, and a single faint spot on the upper right of the skirt- both are so minor you won't noticed them except on inspection. Each underarm has a narrow area of light yellowing. I find no other issues to note!
