This Girl Scouts uniform is the ideal silhouette of the late 1930s! It is rich and outdoorsy in weighty heathered green cotton. Wonderful hidden zipper at the top of the bodice, long cuffed sleeves and simple skirt are perfectly in fashion for the 30s. Our scout was very talented, earning many treasured patches. On the top of the left sleeve reads "Be Prepared." The details are perfect patch pockets, cuffed long sleeves. This garment closes with a metal zipper down the side.

This dress is solid and sturdy. There are three little moth chews in the skirt as well as a couple little chews in the "1" patch on the sleeve. There is what looks like a very faint lipstick mark on the waist. I find no other issues to note.
