Vintage late 1940s post war day dress, in a vibrant and delightful lime green hue color. The rayon/linen blend is soft, but also sturdy and completely breathable with excellent drape. The flattering cut of the shirtwaist bodice is played up with large self-fabric buttons. The four gore A line skirt offers that classic soft flare, and has pockets at each hip. The neckline and pockets are beautifully embroidered with flowers in orange, purple, yellow and spring green. It's summer bright. This piece closes with a side metal zipper and the buttons on the bodice.

This dress is clean and ready to wear. There are a few minor flaws - they sound worse in text than they are in person. There is some very mild underarm fade. There is a single lightened spot below the right pocket, and two other little spots in the skirt. There is a pin hole at the upper back from a pricing gun. I find nothing else to note! This dress wears so beautifully.
