Charming 1960s Original Lanz Dirndle with Embroidered Linen Bodice and Striped Skirt

  • Product Description

This isn't just any dirndl, but an Original Lanz dress, with the Salzburg label, likely from the 1960s. The bodice is long, perfect for a taller gal. It is woven linen in a medium blue with classic trachten floral embroidery in red, green, blue, white and yellow. The dirndl closes with alternating direction hooks up the front. The skirt is tightly gathered and full cut. It is striped in three tones of blue with white leaf prints. The best Trachten fashion you can own is always a Lanz. This darling is as-is, please read the full description.

      Bust: 37.5" to snug 38"
      Waist: 28"
      Hips: 64"
      Length: 50"

This has been let out to the maximum possible length.

      Label: Original Lanz Saltzburg-Wein
      Material: Cotton
      Condition: Good, wearable as is

This piece has been dry cleaned and repaired. In dry cleaning, five areas of the skirt that had dark staining became holes, which have now been patched with material from the pocket. These are all about 22" blow the waist, two at the right and three at the left. There is a little mild staining just at the waistline of the bodice on the left. The dress wears beautifully, but is significantly priced down due to repairs/flaws.
