This early 1960s dress is homemade in a quintessentially perfect silhouette, done in a bright, bold rose print. The cotton pique texture is a perfect pairing with the multi-hues rose motif, giving it depth. Sleevesless with a scoop neckline, this charming spring-summer frock can be easily transitioned to autumn with the additional of a full sleeved blouse (how lovely would an olive green silk look underneath?) This sweet frock closes up the back with a nylon zipper.

This dress is vibrant and fresh! I treated a few tiny spots on the back right hip, and they are now VERY light - close ups show them as best I can, they are VERY faint. The cotton lining the straps and upper back has a few small rust spots, probably from a hanger, but of course, this can't be seen from the exterior. It is sturdy and lovely, and wears beautifully.
