A 1950s day dress with the appeal of a colorblock and the fun of a polka dot print. This tailored frock is made of a sturdy cotton pique in a warm black, contrasted a warm ivory or ecru segments, printed with large and small dots. The larger are oblong, looking like eyes or cocktail olives. The inset at the bust is pleated and edged with black velveteen. The skirt is styled with alternating gores. This dress closes up the back with a sturdy metal zipper. It's such a charmer.

The dress is crisp and sturdy. The only issue I find is bald spots to the edge of the velvet trim on the neckline. It is otherwise clean and lovely!
