Vintage 1930s blouse is the third and final homemade treasure that I think were all made by the same industrious woman. This is a puffed sleeve darling made of crisp cotton eyelet in a quintessentially 30s peach hue.. The collar is small and crisp above a jabot with layers of lace trimmed ruffle. The sleeves are cuffed, and the hem is elasticized. It closes on the back of the neck with a single snap.
Waist: 26"-36" (best up to about 28")
Label: None Present
Condition: Good plus
This blouse is has been gently hand cleaned and is ready to wear. There is still at touch of yellowing along the hem, due the elastic aging. It had relaxed, and I have freshly replaced it. There is a 1/4" rust spot next to the keyhole at back, and a few little rust speckles at the top of the sleeves from an old hanger - these are minor. It's sturdy and ready to wear. I find no other issues to note!
