A killer late 1950s suit by one of the absolute masters of swimwear, Rose Marie Reid. Her suits don't just flatter, they ENHANCE. This is made in the extremely flattering Draped Sheath line that she created , and draped it is indeed, with a total of twenty darts that meet at the center of the suit. The material is sturdy lusterous with subtle slubbing, mimicking the appears of raw silk. It has a bit of stretch for one's best fit. The sides are boned and the bust is lined with fresh and very supportive cups boned cups, ensuring the ideal pert pinup silhouette. These cups do have a foam type backing, but it has not broken down or aged at all. The back is simpe and unadorned, but cut generously through the hips.
Bust: 35" - 38" (snug 39")
Waist: 27" - 31"
Each cup is 8.5" wide, by 7" high measured through the center point.
Label: Rose Marie Reid
Material: Unknown Blend
Condition: Very Good minus
This suit is freshly laundered and ready to wear. The material at the back of the waist and hips may be relaxed, but definitely not significantly, and it should work well on the dimensions listed. I find no other issues to note.
