Vintage 1940s dress is made for a femme fatale. The neckline is scalloped lace edged with black gelatin sequins - the effect is both stabby, and reminiscent of a web, both in very good ways. The back bustle of ruffles continues around the front, banding the skirt with two softly draped tiers. The cut is just deadly, a sexy dress made to delivery an air of commanding confidence. Self fabric ties make a bow at the back. This closes with a side metal zipper and one at the back of the neck.
Label: Patricia Fair Exclusive.
Material: Rayon Crepe
Condition: Good minus, very wearable as is
This dress is clean and ready to wear. The lace is broken at the tops of the shoulders, exposing the nude illusion mesh. There is a bit of rayon fade at the top of the shoulders, a fade spot at the back left shoulder, and some little spots of rayon wear throughout. It's sexy and elegant, and will read fantastically well in cocktail lighting.
