Bold 1950s Lilli Ann Suit Jacket in Black with Woven Red Chevron Accent
An exceptionally bold 1950s Lilli Ann with styling meant to convey power and sophistication. This flattering sportcoat is made of a black wool gabardine, and offers a bold accent in the form of woven red and white stripes in peaked chevrons. The collar is fitted with the same stripes and trimmed in black. There's working hip pockets at each side. The jacket is lined in black rayon crepe, and closes with self-fabric buttons.
Label: an original Lilli Ann of San Francisco
Material: Wool, Rayon Crepe
Condition: Good, as is
This jacket has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear. As is evident, the lower button is missing. Normally, I'd replace them all, but this sat on my repair rack for months, and I've decided that in this case, perfect is the enemy of good - I'll let you get to it, since I haven't. There are four moth holes in the woven red wool on the front, but luckily THREE of them are along the fold of the collar, and not obvious when worn. There's two more chews in the red at the back. This isn't perfect, but the gabardine and lining are still so crisp and fresh that it wears beautifully and is priced with condition in mind.
