Smashing vintage 1940s summer dress in that most warm-weather of fabrics. I admit that I once learned the name for it and immediately forgot it, but this open weave rayon mesh is drapey and heavy while being super breathable and fresh. The black of the print makes it pop against the rosy pink, but there's touches of white throughout too. The sleeves are a petal style, but are so abbreviated, and the shoulder pads are sturdy creating an amazing line. The front peplum is split at the center. The dress closes with four black buttons self in diagonal button holes, and side metal zipper.

This dress is freshly dry cleaned and pressed and is ready to wear. I find no issues to note, which is lovely - I think these summer dresses were often worn hard, so I usually find them worn out, and this sturdy and fresh!
