There is nothing like the charm of the late 1930s. This exceptional 30s rayon dress is approximately 1938, and is warm, sweet, and quintessentially autumn. The pumpkin spice rayon is embellished with yarn embroidery of little flowers, yellow and orange with green leaves. The bodice is incredibly charming, meeting the skirt with scallops, and closing with 20 self-fabric loop closure buttons. The neckline is high with a peter collar. The sleeves are puffed. The skirt is flirty and flared, with shirring below the waist at the center. The dress closes with a side metal zipper and the bodice buttons.

This adorable dress wears beautiful, but as seen in the photos, has areas of patchy fade. The shuolders are both faded, with the right sleeve also having fade to the cuff. There are a few mild light spots on the front, but largely it is the fade on the back of the skirt, which can be seen in the photos. While it's not terribly notable when worn due to the soft folds of the skirt, this is best for a collector who is understanding about flaws. One underarm seam was restitched by hand in the past with red thread, but the underarms are sturdy and not thin or worn. I find no other issues to note!
