1950s Western Wear - Vintage Late 50s Ribbed Rayon Western Pants in Taupe Brown
Vintage 1950s western pants are a beautiful basic for pairing with your favorite gab shirt or fringed jacket. These are stamped on the interior waistband as having a content of 90% rayon and 10% nylon and they are resultingly sleek with an excellent drape. The ribbed texture gives them excellent dimension. They have a high waist with no separate waistband and wide western belt loops. The pockets are western (of course) and deep enough to use. These pants close on the side with a sturdy metal zipper.
This item is part of a large consigned collection of classic vintage western wear that I am delighted to present to you! Search "western" in the shop to see the other items available, there are thirty pieces I'll be listing!
Label: The Painted Desert Brand, Phoeniz, AZ
These are marked W-26, but measure smaller
Material: Rayon Gabardine
Condition: Appears good, but are more good minus with repairs
These pants are clean and ready to wear. There is a pinhole just to the right of the zipper. The center crotch must have torn out in the past - definitely in the era - and the original owner made an internal patch of similar fabric and did quite a bit of top stitching to reinforce it. There's subtle water spots on the right leg. These wear beautiful, though, and have been priced with flaws in mind.
