Vintage late 1930s swimsuit is fantastic - a colorblock executed in a medium weight cotton knit. This iconic 30s bathing suit features a white center front, with two floral silhouettes arranged asymmetrically. This skirted portion is an exterior later - the interior front is a t-shirt like lining, connected to the shorts. The sides and back of the swimsuit are black. This is incredibly slimming! The ties weave through loops at the back, tying to secure the suit.

This suit is clean, sturdy and ready to wear! In the photos, you might note discoloration in the white. I am proud to say, this is no longer present. I had given up on it, when a solution was suggested, and prior to listing I gave it a last bath, freshening up the white to *almost* perfection. This suit can't go into treated water, as the black will bleed into the white. If you wear it in river or sea water, wring it very dry as soon as you take it off. The black isn't as saturated as it once was, but the contrast is still striking and dramatic. Better the photos, sturdy and ready to wear!
