Fantastic Late 1930s Rayon Jersey Day Dress in Grey-Green and Rust Orange with Piping Lace Pockets
Vintage late 1930s day dress in a silky rayon jersey is marvelous mix of bold color and soft neutral. The hue of the groun is a shade that is somewhat blue, somewhat green, somewhat grey, and different light affect which it seems most to be. It's a seafoam hue, but so subtle. The print is grey and black lined blossoms among bold leaves of rusty red. A flattering war era length and cut, this fantastic frock has an ideal silhouette. The shoulders are strongly padded, and there is gathering at the front yoke. The waist has four darts on each side. The skirt offers fabulous hip pockets made of self-fabric piping.
The dress closes on the side with buttons.

Condition: Very Good minus
This dress is clean and ready to wear. There is mild color blur at the underarms. The red in the print is speckled on the ground throughout, definitely a printing error, but very minor. Upon close inspection, I found a total of five tiny spots in the dress as well, on the sleeve, below a button, on the skirt - nothing notable or that detracts. It is sturdy and bright. I find no other issues to note!
