Vintage 1930s robe or housedress in a luxuriously slinky cold rayon. I can't decide if this was made to be a housedress, or if it's a shortened dressing gown, but we both know that you aren't keeping this incredible print hidden in the house! The macro floral print feels boldly tropical on jet black, in white and grey with coral and yellow centers, and leaves or emerald and chartreuse. The classic wrap style offers short cuffed sleeves, a shirred waist and single hip pocket. It closes with narrow internal ties on the right and wide external ties at the left.
Hips: up to 43"

This robe is clean and ready to wear. There is staining on the white areas of the print along the waistband - they aren't awful, but they did not soak away. There's a few speckled spots in the skirt and on the pocket where the black has lightened somewhat. I've interfaced a frayed strain hole by the corner of the pocket, and added some stitches where the back of the waist ties have strained. I believe she actually cleaned house in this piece. Despite the flaws, it really does present beautifully, though, and I've priced it gently with flaws in mind.
