Smashing vintage 1939/1940 war era dress in a stunning combination of chatreuse, black and grey. Featuring a stunning print of dogwood flowers, this textile is a border style, with flowers that travel from more dense to less. The neckline is high, a wide swath of black that meets the floral fabric with scallops of soutache. The clever, gathered, pouch-style hip pockets are trimmed in the same manner. The shoulder pads are significant. This beauty closes up the side with a sturdy metal zipper.

Condition: Very Good minus

This dress is freshly dry cleaned and pressed and is ready to wear. The very edge of the black neckline has a slight reddish fade that I have mostly corrected with permanent fabric dye pens. I find no other issues to note!
