Vintage 1940s gown in a lovely soft rose colored rayon crepe, pairing terrifically with a deep plummy lip color and warm hued contrasts. The silhouette is iconically 40s, with short draped sleeves, a high neckline a sleekly fitted waist, a skirt that draped slimmly - but is full, made of bias cut gores. This gorgeous gown closes with a side metal zipper.
Label: None Present, remnant of a tag remains in the skirt. My money is on Prima or Dubarry
Material: Rayon Crepe
Condition: Good minus.
This gown is clean and ready to wear. The lace at the neckline is, luckily, backed with netting, but the lace layer is quite broken to the top of the shoulders. It doesn't stand out, but the price is great reduced due to that. There are a few small spots by the right underarm. I find no other issues to note.
