Vintage Late 1930s navy blue wool coat is perfection. There's such a quality to these late 30s coats, so rare these days, that is hard to describe, but can be recognized the minute you touch it. The wool is soft and loosely woven, the strong shoulders and faux pockets are highlighted with lovely embroidered soutache. Shirring emphasizes the beautiful shape of the shoulders. Fastens with a single button at the waist. Warm and stylish, you will be a knockout in this perfect, every-single-day-of-winter sort of beauty.
Hips: They measure 42" but it's open due to the shape.
Label: None Present
Material: Wool, Acetate Taffeta
I closed up roughly 10 small moth holes. There is one small area of weakness on the left hip. Because of the color and textile, none of this is noticeable when worn. I find no other issues of note.
