Vintage 1940s dress in delicious, lightweight bemburg rayon. This dress is delightful for spring and summer, breezy and semi-sheer. The sleeves are short and have a ruffled flounce - these are perfect for movement and dance especially, not snug in the least. It's a button front style, with the closure running collar to hips, right over the flirty peplum. The skirt is gored for that perfectly swishy fit (always my favorite.) The print is something specific I can't quite place - I'm calling it firework flowers, because that's the impression from a distance - but I think maybe it's hay threshing? Gorgeous in grey, yellow, black and white.

This dress presents beautifully, and has been freshly dry cleaned and is ready to be worn. The top button is a replacement, and the lowest button is missing its rhinestone. I find no other issues to note.
