Glorious Late 1930s Satin Zip Front Dressing Gown in Vibant Floral on Olive Ground
Vintage 1940s dressing gown in a brilliantly fabulous floral print rayon-acetate satin, complete with fuchsia, lapis blue, mustard, white and chartruese on an olive ground. The silhouette is truly divine, with puffed sleeves, a sleek fitted midwaist, and a looooooong metal zipper that runs from neck to the vented opening. There is shirring at the yoke and bust. The original self-fabric belt is still present, with self-fabric covered buckle. This piece will add a touch of glamour and luxury to even the most lazy day around the house. This isn't pinned well on the model, so forgive the frumpiness - this is perfection on the figure that it fits!

This garment is clean and ready to wear. I've actually owned this for about three years, but it never fit my hips. (insert sad face.) Yet despite trying it on multiple times, I never realized that there was speckled spotting all along the front - that's how busy and bright the print is. It would never be noted for casual wear, but I've taken example photos for you! There's also one TEEENY pinhole in the midwaist, and the original owner whipstitched down the fabric to either side of the zipper placket, and if you look closely, you can find the stitches - again, concealed by the busy print. I find no other issues to note!
