A gorgeous, high impact evening gown of rayon crepe. This fabulous late 1930s gown is a a dramatic blue, rich and saturated. The gathers of the bodice are paired with the vertical darts to make unique v's that lead to the neckline. The neckline is sheer mesh, banded with silvery sequins, in two different patterns. The sleeves are full length and cut in a soft, understated bishop shape. The skirt is gathered and softly draped. The gown closes up the back with a sturdy metal bell zipper. The sleeves close with snaps

Material: Rayon Crepe
Condition: Good plus, very sturdy with fade.
This gown is clean, sturdy and ready to wear. There is subtle fade at the outside of each sleeve, and towards the bottom of the skirt. There is a narrow area of fade at the underarms as well. The last thing to note is a small row of sequins that is partly missing, and partly restitched at the back right of the neckline. The dress wears beautifully, with the mild fade having little impact on the overall appearance.
