This exquisite kimono is, if I am honest, a challenge for me to date. The print and palette scream 1930s to me, and I have one colleague who concurs, while another feels it's 60s. Whichever it is, it is vintage and it is striking. The pastel hues against black, the huge blossoms, the deep sleeves. The sleeves are lined with white cotton, with a trim of red silk. The internal collar facing is coral summerweight wool/silk blend, and the lower lining is a brown acetate. This is basted on, and appears to be a later replacement (it is also the primary reason the date is less certain.) This has no sash, but looks amazing with one added. The sleeves are long, and dramatic. The colors are divine. And if you don't snap it up, I think I'm keeping it.

      ✂-----Measurements

This kimono should fit a range of sizes from small to some xl. It is not pinned on the dress form.

      Bust: 51"
      Waist: 51"
      Hips: 51"
      Length: 57"

      Label: None Present
      Material: Silk, silk/wool, acetate
      Condition: Very Good minus

This kimono is clean and ready to wear. There are some staining to the lining of the left sleeve. The silk has minor printing registration flaws here and there - most of them are really minor - but there's a narrow horizontal line about 6" above the hem at back where color is missing or slightly out of place. I found two tiny snags in the silk, and a few VERY light spots that are hidden by the busy print. It is sturdy and ready to wear!
