Adorable 1940s or Late 30s Sweater with Attached Scarf and Cute Dried Walnut Husk Buttons
-
Product Description
Vintage late 1930s or early 40s sweater is a smart piece with really clever details! The matching scarf is attached at the neck. The alternating stitch styles give the soft wool so much texture! This fabulous sweater is a hazelnut brown, warm and autumnal. The sleeves are full length with banded cuffs. The shape is a bit square, but it was originally intended to be worn with a belt (there’s belt loops). This closes with five huge buttons, that I think are dried black walnut husks.

This garment is clean and ready to wear! I darned a single moth chew at the right underarm. I find no other flaws to note - it wears beautifully. -
