Vintage Late 1940s spring dress is fantastic piece in a perfect marriage of colors. This lovely early 50s look features a surplice bodice of brown polished cotton, and a skirt made of row after row of alternating polished blue and brown cottons. These bands are joined, not printed. The skirt is pinch pleated and full, not made to be worn over anything fuller than a crinoline. I love the bold colorblock styling mixed with this soft palette. I think you will, too. The dress closes with a metal zipper up the side.
This dress fits snugly on the six 6 dress form (35 bust, 25.5 waist), it is closer to a size 4.

This dress is clean and ready to wear. There is small spot on the front of the left sleeve where the fabric has lightened - I think it was a stain that someone treated and they ended up lifting a tiny spot of color. It's tiny and mild, but present, I find no other issues to note!
