My favorite, I think, of all the dresses in this antique grouping is this exceptional piece of cotton mull, decadently embellished with whitework embroidery. The bodice has a bloused style with puffed sleeves. The neckline and cuffs are gathered around piping, and then finished with a fine lace. A similar treatment makes up the defined waistband, only the piping is edged here with self-fabric ruffles. The real statement of the dress is the tiered skirt, with it's dual crenellated hems and decadent checkered openwork. This is better, more textural than my mannequin photos capture - it is much closer to the modeled photos, but you'll still appreciate it even more in person. A very special summer dress.

Length: 49"

Material: Cotton Mull (muslin)
Condition: Very Good Minus
This dress is clean and ready to wear. It was mistakenly listed for months as "good minus - wearable with some repair" and no details - it seems that when I listed it, I never actually finished the listing. This dress is NOT damaged - it is exceptionally fresh and clean, beautifully embellished, sturdy muslin. There is a single small hole on the top tier of the skirt, at the lower left. I find no other issues to note!
