      Vintage 1930s heels in a painted navy leather with fantastic details. These shoes are just the sort of thing you see ads for, but can seldom find! The leather is perforated, with criss-crossed top stitching. The wide angular mary jane straps have asymmetric cutaways. These sturdy dream shoes are lined with rayon through the toe, with leather heel lining and insoles. The soles and heel taps are leather.

      So, the bad news is that these shoes definitely used to be a rich red, and someone in the era make them navy blue. WHY? I don't know. They did a good job, but you can see the red color come through on close examination, along the peeptoe edge, in some fine micro-cracks in navy, at the interior, where there is rubbing at the back of the heel. Aside from that, which you really wouldn't notice when worn, there's normal wear to the soles.
