There is nothing better to set off your personal, unique wedding look than a vintage veil - the workmanship is beyond anything you could find new today. This lace may be older than the conversative 1930s date I've given it, as tambour lace was also popular in the 1850s and early 1900s - I honestly think this may be Edwardian, but as it was added to a headpiece in the 1950s, it's difficult to conclusively date, but it is no later than the early 1930s. So different from today's styles, a veil like this will truly stand out and mark a bride's look as her own. the piece seems to be a very large square - 73" per side. The detail is centered on the top point and the bottom point. It is 109" from point to point, making it on the "shorter" end of cathedral length. It is a warm ivory, showing age but not significantly yellowed. The work on this piece is exceptionally fine - an elegance that really is rare - it's best to let the photos describe it, as it has so much detail. It will especially striking over dark hair. And frankly, this is just so much more stunning in person - there's some things that you can't capture in camera.

      Material: Cotton, silk
      Condition: Very Good

The headpiece attached was added in the 1950s, as noted. There are about fifteen tiny pinhole breaks in the net, and two that are larger - a 1/4" hole lower down, and one that is 1/2" along the lower left edge. These could be repaired, but honestly you won't noticed them except on inspection, and I left them in case it would pull on the tulle. I found three small brown stains. I have gone over the piece on a dark surface three times to assess it - it looks perfect when worn. I find no other issues to note!
