Vintage 1940s gown by DuBarry in a lustrout rose pink crepe de chine. The images have a bluish case I couldn't quite correct, please overlook that. This stunning gown features a flattering draped bodice with self-fabric buttons and pleated draping along the left hip. The movement of the flowing rayon is perfection - the skirt is a wrapped style, one of my favorite design elements. This fabulous piece closes with a cloth covered metal zipper.
Hips: 44" + a bit due to drape
Label: Dress of Charm, DuBarry
Material: Silk Crepe de Chine
Condition: Good minus, as is, very wearable
This gown has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear. I have also hand washed it, attempting to fully remove the water line that has mildly stained the skirt. I did not get it out, but made it much lighter. Take a look at the the mid skirt in photos 1, 3, 4, and 7. It's subtle, this can absolute be worn for a formal event. there are no other issues to note!
