Fantastic 1950s Cotton Day Dress in Burgundy with Rich Chevron Stripes
Vintage 1950s dress uses chevron stripes to best effect. If there's anything that I can't resist in 50s fashion, it's clever use of stripes and plaids with chevron features, and this one nails it, with clever triangular chest pockets and four-gore skirt. The heathered burgundy background is striped with green, yellow, black and blue in a bold and flattering statement. The bodice has a high neck accented with a kitten bow and short sleeves. The slightly flared skirt is gathered at each side of the waist for a little extra movement. This cute day dress closes up the back with buttons.
This is not pinned on the size 6, 35" bust dress form - it's a perfect, slightly generous fit with a little ease.

Condition: Very Good
This dress is crisp, fresh and ready to wear. I find no issues to note! It has been washed in the past, but the cotton is crisp and the colors are bright.
