Vintage 1920s pongee robe is truly beautiful, featuring an unusual and highly detailed border print of a pagoda and bridge among a lush garden. Around the neckline and sleeves, the traditional peony motif is repeated. A bolder trim makes up the accent at the opening. The silk is absolutely light as can be, that lustrous and slightly slubbed natural weave. Some of these have internal ties, this piece does not.
Best for small to a extra large, best up to 46" bust.

This robe is dry cleaned and ready to wear. The colors seem to have mildly faded with being worn and washed. This piece has some foxing on the left sleeve and both front panels, as well as a couple water spots. At the mid back, there are two moth chews and a small amount of related staining (sometimes areas where moth casing sits lightly yellow - this is very subtle.) It wears beautifully. I find no other issues to note.
