It rather kills me to think what a magnificent ensemble this simple finishing piece must have belonged to. And yet, this piece is so incredibly relevant and wearable that I love knowing it will be worn today, creatively. I called it 1850s or 60s style because despite the fact that the components are antique now, it is machine made, and while that is POSSIBLE at that time, I can't be certain of the date. It is either from that era, or made in the Edwardian period as a costume piece. The belled sleeves are trimmed with a machine lace. A perfect look for pairing with jeans or a dreamy dress for summer.
